United Methodist Women

Lunch meeting each 2nd Monday

Noon at the FLC

The United Methodist Women meet with a brown bag lunch to study God’s mission for them in the world and plan activities which serve His church and the community.

Their activities include sponsoring a Community Health Fair each fall to give area residents an opportunity to receive health information, tests and immunizations.

The spring Rummage Sale, held in March, is a major fundraiser for the UMW missions.

The UMW enjoys great camaraderie while making dressing from scratch to sell to the community as a fall fund raiser.

Other activities include serving a teacher appreciation lunch during school preparation, serving lunch to high school seniors before graduation, and acquiring and preparing Christmas gifts for the underprivileged.

If you are a woman and desire to join this group, please contact the church office or attend a regularly scheduled meeting.
