Meeting each 2nd Monday

11 a.m. at the FLC

The United Methodist Women meet to study God’s mission for them in the world and plan activities which serve His church and the community.

Their activities include sponsoring a Community Health Fair each fall to give area residents an opportunity to receive health information, tests and immunizations.

The annual Rummage Sale, held first Friday and Saturday of June, is the major fundraiser for the UMW missions.

The UMW enjoys great camaraderie while making dressing from scratch to sell to the community as a fall fund raiser.

Other activities include serving a teacher appreciation lunch during school preparation, serving lunch to high school seniors before graduation, and acquiring and preparing Christmas gifts for the underprivileged.

If you are a woman and desire to join this group, please contact the church office or attend a regularly scheduled meeting.

Please note that UMW does not meet during the summer (June - August).
